Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi Kenya / Aberdare
Morning picked up at the Jomo Kenyatta International airport in Nairobi by our office Representative briefed concerning your safari then introduced to your driver guide and then start your safari of a life time headed straight to Aberdare National Park.
The Aberdare National Park is part of the Aberdare Mountain Range, a region of stunning and diverse landscape where jagged peaks soar up to 3,930m and deep ravines cut through the forested slopes. The area is ideal for game-viewing, walking, picnics and trout fishing.
Arrive for lunch and check in at the Lodge. Thereafter have an afternoon game drive at the park to return to the camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Aberdare National Park / Samburu National Reserve
Breakfast and then drive to Samburu National Reserve. The Samburu National Reserve is a game reserve on the banks of the Ewaso Ng'iro river in Kenya. On the other side of the river is the Buffalo Springs National Reserve.
This Reserve was one of the two areas in which conservationists George and Joy Adamson raised Elsa the Lioness. Their story was made famous by the bestselling book and award-winning movie "Born Free". The game reserve is renowned for its rare species of animals unique to the park, namely: the long necked gerenuk, Grevy's zebra, reticulated giraffe and Beisa onyx. The elusive Kenya leopard is often known to visit the park, especially in the evenings.
Other Kenyan wildlife present in Samburu park includes cheetahs and lions, as well as elephants, buffalo and hippos. Birdlife is also as plentiful as wildlife at Samburu National Reserve, which boasts over 350 different species of birds including vultures, kingfishers, marabous, bateleurs, guinea fowl, Somali ostriches and others. The only park that you can find all the big five and small five.
Arrive for lunch and check in at the Lodge/ Tented Camp. Thereafter have an afternoon game drive at the game reserve to return to the camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Samburu National Reserve.
Whole day in Samburu with game drives between the meals. With overnight at the Lodge/Tented Camp.
Day 4: Samburu National Reserve / Lake Naivasha
Breakfast and then drive to Lake Naivasha.
Arrive for lunch and check in at the Lodge/Tented Camp. Thereafter have an afternoon game drive at the Hells Gate National Park.
The Park is a remarkable quarter of the Great Rift Valley. Spectacular scenery including the towering cliffs, water-gouged gorges, stark rock towers, scrub clad volcanoes and belching plumes of geothermal steam make it one of the most atmospheric Parks in Africa.
- • Also home for African buffalo, zebra, eland, hartebeest, Thomson's gazelle and baboons are common. The park is also home to klipspringer antelope and Chandler's mountain reedbuck
- • Prolific birdlife – there are over 100 species of birds in the park, including vultures, Verreaux's Eagles, augur buzzard and swifts. With Optional Boat ride at the crescent island. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge/Tented camp.
Day 5: Lake Naivasha / Maasai Mara
Breakfast and then depart for the highlight of your safari.
Maasai Mara (Masai Mara)National Reserve is situated in south-west Kenya and is one of Africa's Greatest Wildlife Reserves. Together with the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania it forms Africa's most diverse, incredible and most spectacular eco-systems and possibly the world's top safari big game viewing eco-system. Home and famous for the World's "Great Migration", one of the awe-inspiring natural events.
Make sure you have your safari book planned out that includes the Maasai Mara. I am sure you have heard the wildebeest migration is nothing short of amazing. It is one of the things you have to add to your bucket list. And best time to be in Kenya for it is JULY – OCTOBER.
Arrive in time for hot lunch and check in at the Lodge/Tented Camp. Later on have an afternoon game drives at the reserve and return to the Lodge/Camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 6 & 7: Maasai Mara National Reserve.
2 whole days in Maasai Mara National Reserve with game drives between the meals OR Optional full day game drives with packed lunch boxes at no extra cost. With optional balloon ride safari and Maasai Village visit. (at extra cost) All meals at the Lodge/Tented Camp.
Day 8: Maasai Mara National Reserve / Serengeti National Park.
Breakfast and then depart for Serengeti National Park in Tanzania via Isebania border. The oldest and most popular National Park and the jewel in the crown of Tanzania's protected areas. Serengeti is also a World heritage site and was recently proclaimed a 7th Worldwide wonder for its annual wildebeest and zebras Migration that flow south from the northern hills to the southern plains for the short rains every year.
All meals and overnight at the Lodge. Booked on FB
Day 9: Serengeti National Park.
Breakfast and then depart with picnic lunch boxes for a full day game drive at Serengeti National Park.
Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.
Day 10: Serengeti National Park / Ngorongoro.
Breakfast at the Lodge and then depart for Ngorongoro Conservancy Area. This is also a protected area and a World Heritage Site. The area is named after Ngorongoro Crater, a large volcanic caldera within the area.
The jewel in Ngorongoro's crown is a deep, volcanic crater, the largest un flooded and unbroken caldera in the world, the Ngorongoro Crater is a breathtaking natural wonder.
Meals and overnight at the Lodge.
Day 11: Ngorongoro to Amboseli National Park
After a leisurely early breakfast at the Lodge, you will then drive to Amboseli National Park via Namanga border. The Park is located in Loitoktok District, Rift Valley Province of Kenya.
The park is famous for being the best place in Africa to get close to free-ranging elephants among other wildlife species. Other attraction of the park includes opportunities to meet the Maasai people and also offers spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest free-standing mountain in the world.
Meals and overnight at the Lodge / Tented Camp.
Day 12: Amboseli National Park
Whole day in Amboseli National park with game drives between the meals. With overnight at the Lodge/Tented Camp.
Day 13: Amboseli / Nairobi.
After breakfast at the Lodge/Camp you will return to Nairobi and transferred to the city hotel for overnight. Booked on BB.
Day 14: Departure.
